Wayne Taylor was born and raised on the mesas of the Hopi Indian Reservation located in Northeastern part of Arizona. He is from the village of Shongopavi and belongs to the Sun Clan. He joined Merrill Lynch in July 2006 and serves as a Financial Advisor in the Scottsdale, Arizona office. Mr. Taylor had a long and successful career in tribal government, having served as the Chairman/CEO for the Hopi Tribe of Arizona from 1998 until 2005, and as Vice Chairman from 1994 until 1997. Mr. Taylor received a B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1997 and was bestowed with the degree of Doctor of Humane Letters by Northern Arizona University in 2006.
