65 units. Multi-family affordable housing community for working families. Native American Connections purchased this half-acre property just north of the Native American Community Service Center to develop future workforce housing. Named after long-standing CEO Diana Yazzie Devine, Devine Legacy on Central will be one of the first affordable housing communities along the Metro light rail route. The urban design will include a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom units (lofts, family flats and townhomes) and incorporate a number of green building design features. Outdoor facilities will consist of Ramada and BBQ areas in the central court yard, protected with an awning structure to ensure year-round use. Other amenities include a computer room and a business center. Construction begins Spring 2010.
