44-units. HUD permanent supportive housing. Single Resident Occupancy (SRO) with project-based Section 8 (through the City of Phoenix). Case management services for homeless people include assistance with benefits, employment, transportation, and meals. 20 units designated for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Opened 1999.
Permanent Supportive Housing with Project Based Section 8 Single occupancy rooms for adults that are homeless and have a permanent disability or HIV/AIDS at time of application. Residents are case managed throughout their residency.
Stepping Stone is a drug and alcohol free community.
No smoking is permitted in any building
Amenities:- Furnished rooms with communal bathrooms and community kitchen
- Breakfast and a sack lunch are served Monday - Friday to all residents from our commercial kitchen in our community dining room
- ADA accessible rooms are available
- Computer for job search available to residents
- Rent is based on income, with Section 8 approval, income restrictions apply
