Native American Connections’ clinical philosophy and professionally trained staff strengthen a client’s resiliency by building skills, increase their capacity by teaching life coping techniques, and support their recovery through promoting healthy lifestyles. Traditional Healing

Talking Circle Ceremony: This ceremonial and therapeutic group process touches the heart through deep listening and respect, bringing healing to the mind, body, and spirit.

Sweat Lodge Ceremony: Practiced for years in Native American culture, this ceremony uses the natural elements of the earth for the purposes of spiritual healing and strength. The ceremony includes preparation, participation, and purification.

Outpatient & Inpatient Services at Guiding Star & Indian Rehabilitation:

  • Substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Specialty services for pregnant, post partum, and parenting women
  • Specialty services for women and men with dependent children including therapeutic interventions for children and family members
  • Structured extended family systems treatment
  • Traditional Native healing practices and ceremonies
  • Individual, family, group counseling and therapy
  • Case management and wrap around services
  • Intensive/structured full day, half day, and evening programs
  • Workforce development and employment readiness

Licensure/Certification. Native American Connections treatment facilities are Licensed and/or Certified as Providers by the following agencies:

  • State of Arizona, Department of Health Services, and Office of Behavioral Health Licensing.
  • Maricopa County Regional Behavioral Health Authority: Value Options
  • Gila River Tribal Regional Behavioral Health Authority.
  • Navajo Nation Tribal Regional Behavioral Health Authority.
  • Medicaid: Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).
  • Unites States District Court: Federal PreTrial and Probation.
  • Phoenix Area Indian Health Service
  • Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service

Insurance and Third-Party Payor Contracts and Agreements. NAC is able to accept third-party insurance, if specified as a provider with your insurance plan’s provider network. NAC is an approved provider for the following insurance plans / entity agreements:
