

EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or GED with 3 years (6,000 hours) supervised work experience specific to the AODA domains.
· Associate's degree with 2½ years (5,000 hours) supervised work experience specific to the AODA domains.
EDUCATION:
· 270 clock hours of alcohol and drug specific education.
· Minimum of 6 hours of Specific Ethics training.
SUPERVISION:
Supervised 150 total clock hours practicum with a minimum of 10 hours in each of 12-Core Functions (Screening, Case Management, Intake, Crisis Intervention, Orientation, Client Education, Consultation, Asessment, Referral, and Treatment Planning.)
Examination:
None is required for this level of certification.
