POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Outpatient Services - Clinical Supervisor BHP, under the direct supervision of the CEO, is responsible for daily oversight of operations of the Adult Outpatient Clinic. Develops, directs and supervises the Outpatient Clinic's clinical processes, programs and staff in delivering a range of substance abuse and general mental health services consistent with Level II, State licensure and contracted ‘scopes of work'. Oversees Intake and Assessment. Manages the program and its operations in manners that are consistent with: NAC's Mission and Philosophy, Clinical & Ethical Best Practices and Standards; Private and Public Managed Care reimbursement systems; Local, State and Federal Regulations; Tribal Governance Regulations; and various Independent Contract requirements, which are fiscally viable.

Clinical Supervisor - Residential

POSITION SUMMARY:

Dynamic opportunity to blend Best Practices with Traditional Native Healing. Supervise team of clinicians, case managers and case aides to support innovative substance abuse services within a structured women's Level II Residential Behavioral Health Facility. Develops, implements, and supervises a comprehensive system of inpatient services that respond to the targeted community's needs and support the organization's overall mission, philosophy, and goals. Is a critical member of the organization's management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provides daily oversight of the operations of the Guiding Star Facility.

· Trains, supervises and evaluates clinical staff, maintains documentation of staff supervision and provides regular supervision reports that are consistent with NAC policy and procedures, Arizona State Behavioral Health Licensure regulations, Private and Public Managed Care reimbursement systems, Local, State and Federal Regulations, Tribal Governance Regulations, and various Independent Contract requirements.

· Supervises and coordinates the client treatment and discharge planning processes and meetings, including external provider / agency coordination of care and utilization review processes.

· Maintains fiscally viable behavioral health operations and participates in the agencies budgeting and financial management processes.

· Maintains facility licensure requirements and facilitates site surveys, with support of NAC administrative staff.

· Participates in the development / refinement of clinical programs, policies and procedures, and overall organizational operations.

· Supervises and ensures the timely completion and maintenance of and accurate client medical records in accordance with NAC Policies and Procedures and Local, State and Federal Regulations.

· Provides individual, group and family counseling and didactic education groups as needed

· Participates in inter-agency community provider committees and meetings.

· Actively participates in NAC Management Meetings

Case Aide - Transitional Living Program

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the safety of all residents at the Nicholas House Transitional Living Program facility. Implements the treatment model, supervises youth, teaches and monitors behaviors/skills according to individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have had experience/training in motivational interviewing and be bi-lingual.

Case Aide - On Call - Guiding Star - Midnight shifts

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Case Aide is responsible for the safety of all clients and the facility, monitor daily house keeping and report required maintenance of the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for the safety of facility and clients

· Observe client self-administration of medications.

· Document in the Bed Check Log, and Daily Log, incident reports when necessary, shift change.

· Janitorial duties as assigned.

· Assign and Monitor daily house keeping, general house maintenance, and report repairs to maintenance department.

· Preparation of beds and rooms for admitting clients.

· Distribution of linens, personal hygiene items, maintain inventory and order required program supplies.

· Facilitate scheduled time for house meetings to distribute house duties, announce mail/messages.

Chef - Part time and On Call

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Food Service Manager, is responsible for the operation of the kitchen in a residential treatment facility. Weekend and holidays, relieve full time staff for vacations. Average 24 hours per week. Adheres to the State of Arizona Health Department sanitation requirements.
