Native American Connections Parade- Saturday October 9, 2010

10.09.10

The annual Native American Connections parade will be held on Saturday October 9th, 2010 in downtown Phoenix.

This years' theme will be Ancestral Treasures: Expressions through Art, Music and Dance.

NAC and NARD committee members chose the theme in hopes of inspiring participating groups to showcase their organizations by displaying native art, music and dance.

The parade has always been one of the highlights of NARD and is open to any group that wants to display an entry promoting the theme.

The parade will begin on 3rd Street and Oak and proceed North down 3rd Street to Steele Indian School Park. Registration will be in the parking lot of Monterey Elementary School at 3rd Street and Oak.

Click on the box to the right to download a parade application. This year there is a price break for early registrants so get your application in by October 1st!

See you at the parade!
