NAC Announces 2010 Parade Results!

11.08.10

The 28th annual parade was a wonderful success!
With over 55 entries including bands and cheerleaders,
there was a large variety of participants and community
members were excited to see and hear them all!

The parade featured two talented Parade Marshals and two outstanding emcees! Director/Producer Holt Hamilton and Singer/Actor James Bilagody were excited to join the festivities this year and met with many parade participants and spectators. Patty Dimitriou from Alternative Marketing Solutions and Loren Tapahe from AZ Native Scene were outstanding as emcees, even joining right along with the parade entries at times!

Native American Connections would like to thank our presenting sponsor Gila River Gaming Enterprises and looks forward to our continued partnership! We would also like to extend our gratitude to Wells Fargo, APS, City of Phoenix and Pima Awards for their sponsorship and participation for this years' parade.

Our 2010 judges did a fabulous job! NAC thanks Dave Castillo CEO of Native Home Capital, Linda White Wolf, Host of AZ Native News, Kristine Thomas, Director of AZ Commission of Indian Affairs and David Montour, esteemed Arizona Artist.

Finally, a HUGE thank you to the many volunteers- staff, friends, family and community members who helped to execute this event. It truly would not have been possible without all of you!

Congratulations to all who participated- you are all winners!
