NAC Teams-up with St. Mary's Food Bank to Help Those in Need
On February 15, 2010 Native American Connections (NAC) teamed up with St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance to host the first of several FREE food distributions to individuals and families in need.
The food distribution took place at Sunrise Circle Apartments, one of Native American Connections' affordable housing developments. Several NAC employees as well as residents and community members stepped up to help distribute food boxes.
Over 200 people came through the distribution line that had multiple family members living in their home. In just two hours food was distributed to 899 individuals!
NAC thanks St. Mary's food bank and NAC staff, residents and community volunteers for helping us to provide food for so many of those in need.
The next St. Mary's Food Distribution will be on Monday April 19th at 9 AM at Sunrise Circle Apartments- 2922 N. 39th Street, Phoenix AZ 85018
