New Sweatlodge Built at Patina Wellness Center

New Sweatlodge Built at Patina Wellness Center

We're excited to announce the construction of Patina Wellness Center's Sweatlodge, a traditional space where residents will participate in cleansing ceremony.

NAC extends thanks to our residents, who assisted in the gathering of materials and building of the lodge, and to our wellness center's cultural counselors, Dwight Francisco and Hedy Emery, for their efforts in coordinating this meaningful project.

Check out images of the build and stay tuned for more information on the full build, from gathering materials in partnership with the City of Phoenix and the Rio Salado Restoration project to firing the grandfather stones.

At Native American Connections, we believe culture and spirituality are essential to healing. Learn more about traditional healing incorporated in our residential treatment.
